One Tonne Bags are also known as builders bags, dumpy bags, FIBCs (flexible intermediate bulk containers) and bulk bags. This versatile product is traditionally associated with the construction industry for the storage and transportation of sand and aggregate. One Tonne Bags are also used in the farming sector for the carriage of fertilizer, waste and agricultural products. You could even use an FIBC in the home, and especially in the garden for recycling and garden waste.

Available in size: 86cm x 86cm x 86cm with a 5:1 safety factor rating. This means that each bag is fully certified for a single trip at a load of 1000kgs; however, you can of course then continue using them in a wide number of applications. Each dumpy bag comes with a stitched certificate.

One Tonne Bags have an open top and flat bottom, reinforced stitched seams and 4 reusable lifting loops stitched onto each top corner. This makes for easy carriage with a forklift, or for use as manual handles. Easy to clean and fold away for convenient storage. Bags are supplied empty.

Our Ball Bungees are very popular fixing method for tarpaulins. This is because they are very quick and easy to use. The elasticated loops can be easily be un tied and removed from the structure. They offer a secure and flexible tie solution for your tarpaulin. There are 10 bungees in each pack.

To fasten the Ball Bungee, feed the elasticated loop through the eyelet. Pull the elastic cord through so the ball is tight against the eyelet. Then hook the ball through the look and attach the cord to a secure point. Using a bungee cord on your tarpaulin will increase the strength. When pulled, the cord will stretch instead of the tarpaulin. All of the Shock Cords are UV resistant. They will not scuff due to abrasion. Tarp Grippers are designed using a strong, recycled yellow plastic. This plastic material means they are up to four times stronger than brass eyelets. Installation of a Tarpaulin Gripper is very easy. You simply unfasten the button. Measure where on the tarp you want to place it. Once you have positioned the eyelet on your tarpaulin, fasten the gripper. When you have fastened the gripper a shock cable or bungie can be attached to the grip. Yellow grippers create additional eyelets and fixing points without piercing the tarpaulin itself. Each gripper consists of 2 parts; a plastic wheel to position behind the tarpaulin, and a hooked frame to secure.

They are excellent for repairing old tarpaulin sheets which have been damaged. Each gripper is 115mm end to end. The disk to secure it is 45mm in diamater. The grabbers are very useful for making your own: Boat covers, equipment covers, truck tarps, door shields, furniture protectors, wood pile covers and customize existing tarps for a better fit.
