Description

The MCD Top Clamp is a hard wearing, heavy duty fitting.

Top Plates a manufactured using galvanised steel. Galvanisation ensures that there is no rust on a steel surface. The Plate measures 15 inch – 375 mm square. This is then cut in the centre for a 5 inch – 125mm or 6 inch – 150 mm flue pipe. The Top Plate is used with a clamp and sleeve to support the weight of the chimney liner at the top of the stack. The Top Plate is suitable for all types of flues and stoves.

The installation process has been laid out by our team. We recommended installation is only done by a trained tradesman. Instructions can be found in the tab below. It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year. This helps to maintain a healthy burning inside your stove. Ensuring your equipment lasts longer.
