Stove flashing is an important piece in the stove installation process.
Stove Flashing is used to bridge the gap between the chimeny stack and the roof of your home. When the flashing is installed correctly, it will prevent water from entering the roof through the side of the flue pipe. Old and weathered flashing plates can lead to expensive water damage. At MCD Home and Garden, we stock two types of flashing, one for metal roofs and another for slate or tile roofs. Please select carefully when choosing which flashing you need.
The installation process has been laid out by our team. We recommended installation is only done by a trained tradesman. Instructions can be found in the tab below. It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year. This helps to maintain a healthy burning inside your stove. Ensuring your equipment lasts longer.
